 The Great Republican Contradiction

If you think paying your bills is hard now, imagine having a baby you were not prepared for, thanks to the Republican Party's Pro-Life B.S.

Contradictions of the Republican Party

Contradiction # 1

We need a wall along our southern border to protect us from all the Pro-Life countries below the United States. (Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama, etc.)

Our Southern border with Central America consists of predominately Pro-Life Countries - Total Chaos

Has anybody ever asked why our Southern border looks like this in the first place?

We don't we need a wall along our northern border with Canada, where abortion is perfectly legal.

Our Northern border with Canada where abortion is legal - Total Tranquility

Seems that one policy works (reproductive freedom), the other does not.

Contradiction # 2

Donald Trump claims many of the migrants along our Southern border are criminals. He never says anything negative about the people living to our North (Canada). So "Red America" seems to get along much better with their Northern neighbor, where abortion is legal, than they do with their Southern neighbors, where it is not. It's really quite fascinating.

Contradiction # 3

Republicans don't like poor people, as they are likely to need welfare and other social programs. But when you take away reproductive freedom, you make more poor people. If you don't believe that, just look at our Southern border.

Side Note # 1

Not allowing women to terminate their pregnancy will make some people desperate, since they now have  children they are not prepared to care for. But that's exactly what he wants. What woman would sleep with Donald Trump if she wasn't desperate?

Contradiction # 4

Who will be paying all the medical bills for all the young women that are no longer able to get an abortion? People living in homes like those shown below most likely cannot afford health care for themselves, let alone for a new infant. So if the young moms can’t pay their medical bills, then who will be?  If you want the answer to that question, just look in the mirror. Essentially you will be paying for sex, it's just sex for other people to have. So Republican claims to cut taxes totally contradict the taxes that will be needed to cover the medical needs of all low income new moms that are denied an abortion where they live.

Contradiction # 5

The only medical insurance some low income people can get is ObamaCare, which would cover some of the medical costs of child birth. Yet as of November 02, 2017 the Republican Party has tried to repeal ObamaCare 100 times.

Contradiction # 6

The Republican Party supports Israel and sends billions in aid to the country every year, yet Israel has one of the world’s most liberal abortion policies. In fact, Under Israel’s universal health-care system, the state will fund the procedure. So the GOP is perfectly fine with abortion if it saves their ass from the bad guys in the middle east. But if a young woman here in the U.S. that's recently pregnant needs an abortion to stay out of poverty, well that's just too bad for her. I call this the fake anger of the Republican Party.

Contradiction # 7

A group most affected by abortion bans are young teenage girls (16 - 17 years old), but they are not even allowed to vote for president yet. If they are old enough to be a mother, then they are old enough to vote.

Side note # 2

Never allow religion to interfere with your healthcare.

Contradiction # 8

Anyone that tries to cheat in an election will try to cheat in order to terminate a pregnancy. "I just want to find 11,780 votes" will now become "I just want to find a doctor that will say she's 5 weeks pregnant" (regardless of the fact that she is well past 5 weeks pregnant). So the man that brought all the anti abortion laws upon the country can now bypass the new restrictions with his money. Poor people can't do that.  It's really quite sickening.

Side note # 3

Does anyone think Donald Trump would give up the use of a body part without just compensation? Absolutely not. There is always a negotiation. So to all women - Start your demands at $60,000.00 per month (or more) as compensation for the annexation of your uterus.

Contradiction # 9

Republicans claim to be the party that follows God. Ha, what a crock. On February 16, 2024, the Alabama Supreme Court declared that frozen embryos outside the womb are "children".  Chief Justice Tom Parker wrote “that even before birth, all human beings bear the image of God, and their lives cannot be destroyed without effacing his glory,”.  Justice Parker wrote a 23-page opinion citing the King James Bible, the Ten Commandments, the Book of Genesis, and other biblical sources as the basis for his legal reasoning to sign on to the majority opinion.

This ruling threatened the medical procedure called IVF (in vitro fertilization) in Alabama, which involves a series of medical procedures that can potentially lead to a pregnancy. There was a huge outcry all over the state of Alabama, as some couples depend on IVF to have children.  Now the Alabama legislature is overwhelmingly Republican. And let me tell you they wasted no time in throwing God under the bus. In a matter of days the GOP dominated legislature revised the bylaws of the state to ensure that IVF remained legal. So when God opposes what the Democratic Party wants, that's fine, but if God or any scripture dares to interfere with what Republicans want, well then God is tossed out of the moving car. I don't know if they slowed the car down before he was tossed out.

Contradiction # 10

Donald Trump is against affordable housing in the suburbs. So not only do Republicans tell low income people they have to have the baby, they also tell them they are not welcome in the suburbs.  It's the epitome of not in my backyard. I have news for the Republican Party. Your own Pro-Life policy increases the need for affordable housing. Two impoverished people will only produce more impoverished people.

Contradiction # 11

Donald Trump says he has a great relationship with God and that the Bible is his favorite book. So let's sum this up. Donald Trump claims to be Pro-Life, but yet he is not in favor of a national abortion ban. "Trump’s crystallizing stance appears to be, in essence, a recognition that a federal abortion ban could cost him in the 2024 election". Is there a particular chapter and verse in the Bible that states that the position of God is to protect the unborn - up until the point where Donald Trump starts to lose votes?  Somebody please fill me in.  In reality, Donald Trump was never Pro-Life. He fooled the Evangelicals to get elected in 2016 by getting their votes. Now, because he needs the votes of suburban women, his position is that he is against a national abortion ban. Donald Trump cares much more about votes than he does about any embryo or fetus. It's not even close.

The hornet’s nest is Roe v. Wade, which had stood undisturbed for 50 years.

The schmuck with the golf club is Donald Trump. He decides to mess with the hornet’s nest.  There is someone in the background telling him “don’t do it.”

The schmuck now running from the angry hornets is Donald Trump – and the Republican Party as a whole.  There is someone in the background telling him “I warned you.”  Every hornet in the pic represents 3 million angry voters. There are people who haven’t voted in 30 years that will now be motivated to do so.

Republican Congressman Chip Roy asks his colleagues what they have accomplished in 2023.

Note all of the countries that are red or gray. Red is a complete abortion ban. Gray is banned with exceptions. I maintain that our southern border crises is due in part to these abortion bans.

Also, up until 2020 some 97 percent of Latin American women lived in countries with severe abortion restrictions.  That changed in December of 2020 when Argentina legalized abortion. Since then, Mexico and Colombia decriminalized the procedure as well, meaning three of the four most populous countries in Latin America have now done so.

These countries in Latin America follow a global trend that has seen more than 30 nations expand abortion access since 2000.

So my take away is that some countries have seen the Pro-Life movie and it sucked. So they have changed their laws.
